Register through the PayPal portal below in 1 - 3 categories (Opera, Oratorio, Art Song). Discounts apply for registering in more than 1 category. All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

ONLY MUSIC BY MOZART is accepted.

Materials Submission or before October 5, 2019.

In 1 Email, send your i) Headshot (jpeg), ii) Bio (pdf), iii) Resume (pdf), iv) Two contrasting video and/or audio (links only) for each category in which you have registered, v) Two professional references' contact information, vi) name and email of your voice teacher, vii), and identify how you heard about this Competition. Please do not send materials via google download and dropbox.

A Media Release Form will be sent to you upon registration. Please sign and return the media release form by October 5, 2019.

All files must be labeled with your name, title of the work, opera, etc. Please label your headshot with your name, not just 'headshot'.

Please note that any recording with a pre-recorded orchestral track or electric keyboard will not be accepted.

Video and audio quality must be of a high quality in order to be considered. Due to the quantity of materials we receive, we do not accept mp3s, and video files. All audio and video material must be provided by a link: YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, and websites.

Finalists and/or Winners may be invited to sing at the 2019 Lyra New York International Vocal Competition Live Rounds on December 1, 2019, at the National Opera Center in New York City.

First Place Winners' photos will be posted on the Lyra New York website, and press releases will be submitted to appropriate media outlets.

First Place Winners will receive an Honorarium Prize.

First Place Winners can choose to be interviewed by Lyra New York for the Lyra New York website.

Winners and Finalists will automatically be considered for future Lyra New York performances and events.

Please note that Lyra New York and Adjudicators reserve the right to refrain from naming anyone as a winner, finalist, or semi-finalist in any category.
