Korean native Ki-Taek, Song is a Lyric Tenor who graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. During the time when he was taking a leave of absence from Yonsei University to prepare for mandatory military service, he went to Vienna, Austria and completed lied program. After that, he served as an army vocalist for South Korean army band. After the graduation, he completed music program in Jesi, Italy, and then came to the U.S.A. He studied with Maitland Peters at Manhattan School of Music on a scholarship and received Master degree. Subsequently, Mr. Song studied with Arthur Levy at Mannes School of Music and graduated in 2016. He was also an apprentice artist in Caramoor program in 2017. He performed as King (Amahl & the Night Visitors), Ferrando (Cosi Fan Tutte), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), 1ST Priest and Armor man (Die Zauberflöte), Witch (Hansel and Gretel), Beppe (Pagliacci), Nemorino (L'elisir D'amore), Alfredo (La Traviata), Rodolfo (La Bohème), and Riccardo (Un Ballo in Maschera) with many companies in New York, such as AMORE OPERA, N.Y.E.C, New York Performing Arts Theatre, MANHATTAN OPERA STUDIO, PALISADES OPREA, ARTE OPERA AND BEAUTIFUL FOUNDATION. Regarding oratorios, he performed as soloists in Handel's “Messiah”, Haydn's “Die Schöpfung”, and Mendelssohn's “Elijah”. Currently, he works as a choir conductor at Reformed Church in Westchester, New York.
